Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Populus Bed & Breakfast, I found it to be a practical choice for those who appreciate the essentials. The proximity to Old Town offered convenient access for a leisurely 15-minute walk to explore cultural sites like Neapolis and the Santa Lucia church. The helpful staff stood out, attending to my queries with great professionalism. I particularly enjoyed the tranquil environment, which was complemented by the sun terrace, providing a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. While the area lacks upscale dining options, several fast-food establishments provided adequate nourishment. Given my profession as a marine biologist, I appreciate a peaceful space, and Populus met this need well. It may not cater to everyone, but for those looking for affordable, clean accommodation away from the hustle, it's a solid choice.
